Fran understands the body from the perspectives of being a yoga and pilates practitioner and instructor, as well as an avid sporting woman. Her passion is anything mountain related, trail running specifically. Her career in yoga and pilates, and a lifetime of sporting experience, has developed into a unique product of offering release and stretch sessions for sporty folk.
It is important to activate, release and then stretch out muscles after a long run (or any other sporting activity). This will allow for better long term use of both muscles and fascia, resulting in enhanced performance and an overall balanced approach to activity. Incorporating these principles into a routine will not only enhance the use of one’s body and the overall sense of well being, but it will also assist in a sustainable future of movement.
